Recover Deleted Page Squarespace: A Step-by-Step Guide
Accidentally deleted a page on your Squarespace website? Don’t panic — you may still be able to get it back. Squarespace gives you up to 30 days to recover deleted pages before they’re permanently removed.
In this guide, I’ll show you exactly how to recover them and get your content back safely.
Why Does This Matter?
Getting back pages instead of rebuilding them from scratch can save you a lot of time and effort. Here are a few key reasons this feature is helpful:

Efficiency: Restoring is faster than recreating the page design, content, and SEO settings.
Flexibility: You can easily bring back test pages or drafts if you change your mind.
Step 1: Go to Pages
Log into your Squarespace website and navigate to the Pages panel in your site dashboard.
Step 2: Open the Trash Folder
Scroll down to the very bottom of the Pages panel. You’ll see a section called Trash.
Click it to view all of the pages you’ve deleted within the last 30 days.
Step 3: Bring Back your Page
Find the page you’d like to bring back and click Recover. Squarespace will automatically move it back into your Pages panel.
Step 4: Organize and Save
Once your page is back, drag it into the correct section (either Linked or Not Linked) depending on where you want it to appear on your site. Make sure to Save your changes.
Important Notes About Deleted Pages
Pages are only recoverable for 30 days after deletion.
After 30 days of it being deleted, pages are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
Restoring a page will bring back its content and layout, but double-check your SEO settings to make sure they’re still correct.
