If you’re looking to purchase a domain on Squarespace to use on a website, here’s how you can do it.

On the Squarespace dashboard, navigate to “Domains” in the top left corner
Once you click on that, you will be navigated to a page where it will show all your domains that you have connected to your Squarespace websites. You will see a button that says “Get a Domain” on the right side of the page.

You will then be directed to the Squarespace Domains page where you can search for the domain you want to purchase.
Once you search for the name you want, a bunch of options will appear showing you the available domains that you can purchase and how much it will cost.
Once you click the domain you want, you will see it appear in your cart where you can then go to checkout and purchase the domain.

If you’re looking to purchase a domain while you are on your website, here’s how you can do it.

Navigate to setting on the left bottom corner of the page.
You will then click the second option “Domains and Email”
From there, you will see the built-in domain that Squarespace has provided for it. You will also see a “Get a Domain” button above that shaded in black, click that and it should take you to a page where you can search for your domain.

Once you find the domain you want, click on it and add it to the cart.
You will then see a “Checkout” button in the top right where you can go ahead and purchase the domain.
Once that is all set, the domain should apply to the Squarespace website that you purchased it on.
