Law firm web design

Potential clients judge a firm in seconds. I build Squarespace websites for law firms that look as credible as the practice, keep practice areas, attorneys and case results easy to find, and turn visits into consultations.

Upper Seven Law website, a Montana public-interest law firm on Squarespace

Law firm work · Upper Seven Law, Montana

Dozens of cases, easy to browse

Upper Seven Law is a public-interest firm in Montana that tracks dozens of cases at once: active cases, appeals, wins on the merits and amicus briefs, plus a steady run of press and blog posts. Squarespace’s built-in collections show a library like that as one long list.

I worked on their existing Squarespace site with custom code and plugins so visitors can browse the cases and posts far more easily than the native options allow, and the firm’s team still updates everything in the editor they already know.

“Dylan is the best! He is responsive and great to work with. He has been incredibly helpful with our Squarespace website build. He communicates well, listens to needs and suggests available options that align well with the objectives.”

The website your clients expect to see

Potential clients research a firm long before they call one. They compare three or four websites, judge credibility in seconds, and contact the firm that looks most capable. Your site has one job: pass that test and start the consultation.

Law firm website FAQs

It depends on the number of practice areas and attorneys. You get a fixed quote on the discovery call before anything starts, never an hourly bill. The packages are in the pricing section above.

Most firm sites are designed, built, and handed off in 2 to 5 weeks. Larger firms with many practice areas run closer to 4 to 8 weeks.

Yes. Case results are built as a structured, easy-to-update section, with disclaimers placed where your jurisdiction expects them.

You add them yourself. Attorney bios are built as a repeatable template, and the video training I include covers exactly this.

Yes. Every build ships SEO-ready, and ongoing SEO work is available separately once the site is live.

Yes. For Upper Seven Law I worked on their existing site, adding custom code and plugins so their case pages and posts were easier to browse. If the design still works, targeted improvements are often faster and cheaper than a full rebuild.

Yes, with some help. Squarespace’s built-in collections list items in one feed, which gets hard to browse past a few dozen entries. Custom code and plugins can add filtering, grouping by status or practice area, and cleaner layouts, while your team keeps using the normal editor.
