SEO for Utah businesses
I help Utah businesses show up when people nearby search for what they sell, on Google, in the map results and in AI answers. You work with me directly, not an account manager.

What I work on
Technical fixes
Indexing, redirects, page titles, headings, speed and structured data, fixed so Google can read your site properly.
Local SEO
Your Google Business Profile, the same name, address and phone everywhere you’re listed, and a simple way to keep reviews coming in.
Pages built around real searches
Service pages and Utah city pages written around what your customers actually type, using real search volumes instead of guesses.
Reports you can read
Search Console numbers explained in plain English: what moved, why, and what I’m working on next.
I work with Google Search Console · Google Business Profile · Bing Webmaster Tools · Schema markup
How Utah search actually works
Search for a service in Utah and Google answers in two places: the map at the top and the regular results underneath. They work differently, so the plan for each is different. Tap through to see how.
Not sure which of these is holding you back? I’ll look at your site and your Google profile and tell you.

How it works
Look at where you stand
I go through your site, your Google Business Profile and your Search Console data, then show you what’s holding you back.
Fix the foundation
Technical problems get fixed first, because new pages won’t rank on a site Google struggles to read.
Go after real searches
Pages built or rewritten around what Utah customers actually search for, starting with the searches closest to a sale.
Measure and adjust
I watch what gains impressions and clicks and aim the next round of work at what the data shows.
The SEO tool I recommend for Squarespace
SEOSpace is the best SEO tool I’ve found for Squarespace, and I’ve used it on every site I’ve built for over three years. It’s built only for Squarespace and works right inside the editor, so it tells you what to fix on the page you’re looking at instead of handing you a generic report.
- A checklist for each page: titles, descriptions, headings and image alt text
- Site-wide scans that flag new problems on a schedule
- Keyword ideas and a Google Search Console connection
Utah businesses I’ve built for
Web design in UtahWhat clients say
“Dylan is patient and easy to work with. Highly recommended!”
“Contracted Dylan for a project, from a referral. I discussed my problem, and he creatively came up with a solution, and he executed it as promised. We had two calls, one for project scope, and the other for delivery. Always prompt on email. Glad I’ve found him, will use again.”
“Dylan is simply outstanding. His response time is lightning fast, which is incredibly rare these days. He handled everything with a high level of confidence, competence, and resourcefulness. It’s clear he knows his stuff inside and out. Highly recommend.”
Utah SEO questions
It depends on how much needs fixing and whether you want one round of work or ongoing help. I look at your site first and quote a fixed price, so you know the cost before anything starts.
Technical fixes can show movement within a few weeks. New pages usually take 2 to 4 months to rank for competitive searches, and the results build on each other as more pages go live.
I can give you the best shot at it, but nobody can promise it. The map results lean heavily on how close your business address is to the person searching, plus your reviews and how complete your Google Business Profile is. I work on everything you control and tell you straight where the map pack is realistic.
Most of my SEO work is on Squarespace, since that’s what I build. If your site is on WordPress, Wix or something else, book a call and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit.
Only for the places you actually work and want more business from. A city page works when it has something real on it, like projects you’ve done there. Copies of one page with a different city name tend to get ignored by Google.
No. I’m based in Farmington and work with businesses all over Utah, from Logan to St. George. Everything runs over video calls and email, so it fits around your schedule.
A lot of the same work carries over. AI tools pull from clear answers on your own pages, consistent business details across the web, and reviews, so those get built in as part of the job.
Yes. I’m based in Farmington, so Davis County is home: Bountiful, Centerville, Kaysville and Layton, including home service businesses that rely on local searches. You get the same process as anywhere else in Utah.
