Summer R. Jackson is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School. Her Squarespace site had been built for the academic job market and still read like a CV, while her readers now included practitioners as well as other academics.
I rebuilt it around a narrative of her research: a one-sentence research focus, why the work matters at work, recent awards, selected papers and media, all in native Squarespace sections she edits herself as new work comes out.

That’s most of the job. I start with who reads the site and what they need to understand in the first scroll, then structure the pages around it, so experts get the depth and everyone else gets the point.
